About

A computer security engineer from San Diego who gets around.  I travel a lot and get thrown in the trenches with great colleagues and clients alike.  I learn a lot along the way and most of it is unexpected.  Sometimes the simplest client engagements turn “interesting” and require some creative solutions.  I pride myself on being able to think on my feet and think outside the box.  In the “Work” section of this blog, I intend to record these nerdy adventures as a record for myself and others like me.

I’ve had the joy and privilege of family and friends that have exposed me to some really cool stuff.  My dad introduced me to waterfowl hunting, my best friend has dragged me into many of his hobbies, and most recently, my fantastic girlfriend has introduced me to the wonders of diving (ok, to be fair, my best friend had been hounding me to get certified for some time as well).  I learn a lot from these influential people in my life and I figured I should start sharing.  I hope you read this blog and get something out of it and I hope you add something to everything you read (comment!).  Thanks for visiting.
